About Allycat

A calmer way to meet a cat.

Allycat presents one carefully described cat each day. The experience is intentionally small: there is no endless feed, automatic rotation, account, or popularity score competing for attention.

How cats are selected

Image metadata and bytes come from the public CATAAS service through Allycat's server. A project-owned editorial record supplies a stable name, URL, concise text alternative, and longer visual description for each approved image.

Content boundaries

• Only approved, published records can appear.
• Breed and factual claims are omitted unless a source verifies them.
• Cat images are delivered through bounded same-origin URLs.
• Every published image includes alt text and a visual description.
